I was raised by my mother, who worked extremely hard to support me and my other siblings. When I was ten years old we moved to Millington, Tennessee, a town right outside of Memphis. After graduating from high school I attended Jackson State Community College on a basketball scholarship before transferring to Fisk University to further my education.

Throughout my years I have always had a passion for poetry. I began writing at eight and ever since then I never put the pen down. I compare my style to hip hop, which is a form of poetry over a beat. I am a big fan and I love any form of expression, whether itas writing, rapping, singing, or painting. I titled my works Ghetto Poetry because itas from a perspective of a person who has lived on both sides of the fence. I can relate to the people who are still in the struggle and at the same time get the message to corporate America so that they can feel whatas going on.

I get inspiration from all sorts of things, mainly friends and family, so I hope my works are an inspiration to others so that they may grow close to their loved ones.
